Severy is a city in Greenwood County, Kansas, United States. The 2020 census counted 205 residents. Severy was originally called Gould, and under the latter name founded in 1879. When the Santa Fe Railway was built through the neighborhood, the name Severy was adopted in honor of Luther Severy, a railroad employee.
