Shelburne, VT

Shelburne is a Chittenden County community on Lake Champlain, south of Burlington. Its setting includes the La Platte River, Shelburne Harbor, and a long history of mills, shipyard activity, farms, and lakeshore estates. The Lake Champlain Transportation Company established a shipyard at the harbor, and the town remains known for museum, farm, and waterfront attractions.
