About Thermopolis

Thermopolis is the county seat and largest town of Hot Springs County, Wyoming, situated near the northern end of the Wind River Canyon. Named for the Greek term meaning hot city to highlight its geothermal springs, the community of approximately 2,709 hosts Hot Springs State Park and is served by Hot Springs County School District One.
