Wallingford, VT

Wallingford runs through the Otter Creek Valley between Vermont’s Taconic and Green Mountain ranges, with Route 7 connecting the town to Rutland to the north and Manchester to the south. It includes three distinct centers: Wallingford village, East Wallingford along the Mill River, and South Wallingford, which grew from a stage stop. Beyond those settlements, the town opens into forest, farm fields, gravel roads, and the Green Mountain National Forest.
