Wesley Chapel, NC

Wesley Chapel is a village in Union County, southeast of Charlotte and near Indian Trail. Its roots go back to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, one of the early institutions that gave the area its name and local center. Modern Wesley Chapel is a fast-growing suburban village, with schools, subdivisions, and family-oriented development spreading through what was once more rural countryside. It feels like part of Charlotte's outer growth ring, but with a village government and church-centered history still giving it shape.
