Wilson, WY

Tucked right at the base of Teton Pass, Wilson is a charming, laid-back community on the western edge of Jackson Hole. With around 1,500 residents, it offers a peaceful small-town feel while sitting just six miles west of downtown Jackson. Locals love the immediate access to outdoor adventure, from hiking and mountain biking along the pass in the summer to legendary backcountry skiing in the winter, all with the Snake River and the Teton Range framing the backyard.

The heart of town is centered along Highway 22, where you will find local staples like Nora's Fish Creek Inn and the historic Stagecoach Bar. Families are drawn here for the highly regarded Wilson Elementary School and the tight-knit neighborhood feel. Living here also puts you in a prime spot for commuting, whether you are heading east across the river into Jackson for work or driving west over the pass toward Idaho.
