Woodburn is a home rule-class city in Warren County, Kentucky, United States. The 2020 census counted 303 residents. Woodburn is included in the Bowling Green, Kentucky Metropolitan Statistical Area. Woodburn began as a hamlet known as "Mason's Inn," which served as a stop along the stagecoach road that roughly followed what is now U.S. Route 31W. Woodburn's local map joins its older history to the places and landscapes that still shape the town today, all within the wider Kentucky setting. Woodburn is believed to have gotten its current name from a nearby forest that had been destroyed by fire.
