Woodland is a quiet, scenic community tucked away at the southern end of the Kamas Valley, right where the upper Provo River winds through the foothills of the Uinta Mountains. With fewer than 400 residents, it offers a peaceful, spread-out feel surrounded by mountain views and working ranches. Settled in the 1860s and named for the timber harvested in the nearby canyons, the area has held onto its unhurried, rural character for over a century.

Most homes sit on larger lots or acreage along the river corridor, making it a popular spot for horse owners and anyone wanting easy access to fly-fishing and national forest trails.
