About Jewett City

Jewett City is a borough in the town of Griswold, New London County, Connecticut, situated at the confluence of the Quinebaug and Pachaug rivers. Named in honor of Eliezer Jewett who established a mill settlement here in 1771, the historic community of approximately 3,429 is served by the Griswold School District locally.
